Day 9 - Bad Taxi and Great Notre Dame

July 7 - France

Today we had a good old fashioned sleep-in after a late night walking around. By the time we got moving after brunch it was close to 3 pm our time (6 am PDT).

I was too beat to walk more so we hailed a taxi to Notre Dame. At least that is where we asked to go. We knew he was taking us for a ride, literally and figuratively, but we figured it was better to leave it be after he saw we took out our GPS and veered back in the direction we were supposed to go anyway. Lesson learned.

Notre Dame Cathedral was just as spectacular on the outside as it was inside.

I couldn't resist having a Nutella crepe to boost the system. It seems like anywhere we have travelled to, there is always something made with Nutella, my favorite spread.

Home to another French style picnic of sorts in our room as it is our last night in Paris.  I am packing up now for our flight in the morning to Munich, Germany.
