July 5 - England / France
We chose another walking tour this morning after packing up for Paris. With luggage in hand we took to underground to St. Pancras station. We mistakenly thought the luggage storage it used to have still existed. The guys headed to the closest hostel (down the street) and asked to store there. They were full but suggested we use the British Library lockers. Success, and also found out they have as part of their 17,000 collections, the only bible in existence with a typo. It has as one of the commandments "Thou shalt commit adultery". Oops.
Onwards to the Liverpool station for the next tour. East London.
This tour took us through the eclectic artsy area. It is well known for its street art where most works only last a few weeks to a month.
Next stop, Eurostar fast train to Paris. We had a delicious picnic with wine we carried with us while we travelled.
All settled into our tiny apartment right beside the Louvre. Everyone crashed. This travelling is exhausting but so much fun.
